For the facilitation of taxpayers and expeditious disposal of pending applications, Local Registration Office (LRO) for registration/de-registration at Sales Tax and Sales Tax Refunds Receipt Counter, which was previously working at Kasuri Towers, Lahore, has been shifted to Tax House, Regional Tax Office, Lahore.

Henceforth, all the applications for registration/de-registration, as well as the refund claims of sales tax, will now be received and processed at the Tax House, Lahore, said a spokesman here Monday. Taxpayers are visiting the Tax House to apply for new registration, receive already issued certificates, apply for de-registration, and other matters relating to the registration of sales tax. The LRO is headed by Additional Commissioner Inland Revenue.

Similarly, Sales Tax Refund Claims Receipt & Processing Counter has also started working at the Tax House, Lahore, satisfactorily with the 4 officers of Enforcement Divisions-I to IV, RTO, Lahore. Taxpayers have started submitting their refund claims at the Refund Receipt Counter.-PR
