Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Pervez Rathore has warned the masterminds of Qabza mafia to evacuate the illegally possessed properties as the Lahore police are taking action against the squatters. He said that the reports regarding the arrest of notorious proclaimed offenders, during the ongoing campaign might also be sent to him on regular basis.

He was talking to citizens at Capital City Police Headquarters here on Monday. He directed that a proper atmosphere should be introduced to create sense of security and peace among the people so that they may feel a positive change. He said that all the officers should adopt an inclusive strategy to monitor all officials and keep vigilant eye on them.

He further said that the police officials who would show negligence in preparation of cases to send them in court and would help the criminals directly or indirectly would be dealt with stern action. The CCPO gave sympathetic hearing to every visiting citizen and issued on the spot instructions on a number of applications.

He directed concerned officers to take every possible step to ensure redressal of genuine complaints of every citizen. The CCPO also appealed to the citizens of Lahore to keep a vigilant eye on their immediate surroundings and inform police, without delay, about any suspicious activities in their locality in order to help eradicate acts of terrorism and other heinous crimes from the city.
