Leader of the House in Senate Nayyar Hussain Bokhari said on Monday the PPP-led government was committed to resolving masses' problems and their welfare. Speaking at an inauguration ceremony held in connection with opening of a Post Office, here at Malpur village, he said elected representatives of the PPP were successfully fulfilling their promises made with masses during the election campaign.

He said there were host of problems including terrorism, unemployment, loadshedding etc inherited the PPP when it came into power, but now, he added, the government had come a long way and was successfully resolving all issues facing the country. He said that the government would complete its tenure as he added that PPP had not come to power through back-doors rather it gained power with help of the masses.

He said that PPP-led government was effectively pursuing the vision of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto to empower the poor in the country. Congratulating the residents of the Malpur, the Leader of House, said that he was glad to see his promise being fulfilled by providing Post Office facility to the locality. He assured the people that the government is fully aware of the problems being faced by them and making steps to resolve them.

He said "we are making every possible effort to address issues of Malpur like water shortage, non-availability of gas facility, weekly bazars, electricity load shedding and other problems." He urged that all political parties should join hands against the terrorism facing by the country.

Nayyar Bukhari also said that he has directed the CDA's chairman to set up more weekly bazaars in this area like in Sahala and Sangjani. He expressed the hope that Malpur would also be developed like a Model village as various houses have been constructed in the area.
