A property dealer and his gunman were killed, while his driver received injuries when two unidentified armed persons sprayed bullets on them in the jurisdiction of Defence police station on Saturday. SHO Defence Rao Khalid said Pervez Rais Siddiqui was going to Akhtar Colony with his gunman Rehmat Ali and driver Irshad in a Honda Accord car.

When he reached at a signal adjacent to the DHA Library, two armed persons in a Honda City car came out and opened straight fire on his vehicle, he added. Pervez and his bodyguard Rehmat died on the spot however, the attackers fled from the scene. The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate and Medical Center (JPMC) for post-mortem investigation, the police official said.

According to the SHO, the slain person was engaged in property business and had a dispute over the property matter. Sources at the medico-legal both the persons had received multiple bullets from a close distance. No FIR was registered till filing of this report.
