The Opposition expressed these views while talking to a group of journalists in his chamber on Tuesday. He said that all Balochistan Parliamentarians, political leaders and civil society activists should make their stance on the package clear. "We do not want to politicise Balochistan issue as it encompasses the rights of Baloch people and their uplift is a must for strong and united Pakistan.
This package only addresses a part of the concerns of the Baloch people, while the major issue is how to soothe the wounds of disgruntled population of the province. The PML-N would try to build bridges between the government and suppressed Baloch people,' he said.
About the missing persons from Balochistan province and the country, Chaudhry Nisar Ali said that a Pro-Active Parliamentary Committee should be established at the earliest to trace these people. We should focus and determine exact number of the missing persons, he said.
The PML-N leader said that murders of Nawab Akbar Bugti and other Baloch leaders should be probed to meet the principles of justice. These measures of the government could reduce the heart burn of Baloch people, he said. "We cannot resolve the problems of Balochistan and even a meaningful package could not be brought in this regard without constitutional amendments," he made it clear.
