In the early 1990s, GFC Fans became the first company ever to have exported Pakistani fans to foreign markets. This earned its Chief Executive, Engineer Haji Muhammad Ilyas, the repute of being the Pioneer in Fan Exports. Fifteen years later, GFC has emerged as the symbol of quality and engineering excellence for Pakistani fans around the globe. Not surprisingly, GFC products have totally uprooted even very highly competitive Chinese and Indian fan brands from several foreign markets.
Back in 1993, Chief Executive GFC, Haji Muhammad Ilyas launched fans export from Pakistan, by attending the international exhibition for electrical appliances in Abu-Dhabi. Thereafter, the company participated in many trade delegations and exhibitions arranged by the Export Promotion Bureau and Federation of Chamber of Commerce & Industry, including those held in Bangladesh in 1994, and Yemen and Saudi Arabia in 1997.
Premium quality combined with a diversified product range is what makes GFC secure the confidence of millions of highly satisfied customers not only in Pakistan but also in USA, UK, France, Puerto Rico, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, UAE, Sudan, Ghana, West Indies, Djibouti, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, Afghanistan and other Gulf countries.
Besides the untiring commitment of its team under the Chief Executive, the world wide success of GFC Fans is also a natural outcome of its state-of-the-art manufacturing and world class Quality Control Labs, which never lets a non-conforming product leave the production premises.
In addition to manufacturing premium quality fans, providing a diverse product line is also a part of GFC's objectives. GFC also manufacturers state of the art Washing Machines and Desert Coolers to offer a wide range of products for their valuable customers.
The GFC team includes two highly qualified directors, Khurram Ali Ilyas and Nabeel Ilyas, who are serving the company with the same dedication and zeal as that of their father, Haji Muhammad Ilyas. They are working shoulder to shoulder with the extended GFC management team of highly qualified engineers, whose expertise leads markets both locally and internationally.
Mian Muhammad Ijaz, the Finance Director of GFC, apart from having contributed tremendously to GFC's rise over the years, is known for his public welfare initiatives. He also serves the President of the Anjuman Behbood Mareezan Gujrat, a welfare organisation providing healthcare to the poor and needy patrients. His sons, Asim Ijaz and Nazim Ijaz, after having attained their business administration degrees from Canada, are leading GFC as Directors.
In spite of achieving such phenomenal success in Pakistan's fan industry, GFC's organisation culture does not have room for complacency, rather it stresses on meeting new challenges, reaching new heights everyday. G.FC installed its own copper wire manufacturing unit in 1988 and is also manufacturing its own capacitors. GFC is the first ever company in Pakistan that is certified by UL and CE certifications, for the US and European markets respectively. GFC was not only the pioneer of the export of fans from Pakistan but has been the winner of PCCI Export Trophy for 11 consecutive years. In 2007, the Federal Government awarded GFC the Brands of the Year Award for its highest quality standards and leading export performance.
