Two newborn babies who were placed at Chhipa 'Palna' had been handed over to two childless couples. An announcement on Sunday said that these babies were place at the Chhipa 'palna' at the organisation's North Karachi and Sakhi Hassan centres.

It said that the newborn babies were handed over to the childless couples at a ceremony. Ramzan Chhipa of the Chhipa Welfare Association has pointed out that there has been a 'surge in the dumping of the bodies of the new born babies'. He expressed concern at such a trend and appealed to the people not to commit 'homicide' and leave such babies in 'Chhipa palna' so that they could be brought up and handed over to childless couples. He said that such 'palnas' have been installed at the Chhipa Markaz and emergency centres. He further pointed out that the prime concern of the Chhipa Welfare Association was to save the human lives.
