US President Barack Hussain Obama on Wednesday said that security of Pakistan, Afghanistan and US is interlinked and the US will help promote trade and education in the region, Aaj TV reported. Delivering a statement after meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari and President Hamid Karzai, Obama said that al Qaeda is a constant threat to the elected democratic governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

According to the channel, Obama announced $400 million emergency fund. US President also pledged "lasting commitment" to democratic governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan. President Barack Obama said he and the leaders of Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed they share a common goal of dismantling, disrupting and defeating al Qaeda and its extremist allies.

Obama said that US forces are capable and will counter al Qaeda alongside Pak-Afghan border. US President said: " We will extend long lasting support to democratic institutions of Pakistan and we support them who would stand up against common enemy al Qaeda. Obama praised Pakistan and Afghanistan for fighting against terrorism. At last the US President thanked President Zardari and Karzai for their meeting with him.
