Private TV channels said that the Prime Minister held a one-on-one meeting with the President at Aiwan-e-Sadr and discussed the country's political situation following the SC verdict to declare Sharif brothers ineligible, its implications, law and order situation, restoration of deposed judges and lawyers' long march.
TV channels further reported that both the leaders discussed various aspects of the SC decision and its implications on the current political situation in the country. Gilani gave different suggestions to President Zardari with regard to judges' restoration before the long march. President Zardari also apprised the Prime Minister of his recent visit to China, the TV channels added.
