United States Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia, Richard Boucher has said that Supreme Court judgement is very vital and it will promote democracy in Pakistan, Aaj TV channel reported. However, it was Pakistan's internal matter and the US was only observer, Boucher told Pakistani journalists in New York.

Replying to a question about General Musharraf uniform, the US assistant secretary said that a democratic leadership could play better role against war on terror, TV channel added.
