Sindh High Court on Wednesday suspended, till next date of hearing, May 15, 2007, the show cause notice issued to Aaj Television by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) for airing news, programmes and talk shows in violation of code of conduct on Chief Justice of Pakistan Presidential Reference before Supreme Judicial Council.

SHC's division bench comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Qaiser Iqbal also issued notice to Secretary Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and Pemra for May 15, 2007 on petition filed by Recorder Television Network (Aaj TV) and its Managing Director, Ahmed Aziz Zubairi, who challenged the notice.
