The newly posted Secretary Defence Kamran Rasool assumed the charge of his office on Thursday. He held introductory meetings with the senior officials of the ministry, after assuming the charge of the post at the Ministry of Defence Rawalpindi.

The Secretary was briefed about the functioning of various wings of the ministry by respective heads.
