Let's grow together as a region by putting together Saarc agenda of peace and resolving all disputes under this multinational framework. This was prime minister, Shaukat Aziz's message for Indian and other Saarc member countries on the eve of 14th Saarc summit commencing here from April 3.

Shaukat Aziz gave this strong message to the Saarc members while addressing at a dinner hosted by Pakistan High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik. He said Pakistan was strictly following Saarc agenda in true spirit and hopes that other member countries would follow the suit. He added that Saarc was meant to have better understanding among the regional countries and reach to an amicable solution to disputes. He said amicable solution to all the disputes could ensure peace and a prosperous future for the people.

He said Pakistan was a growing free economy and any one could come and invest to take best return of the investment. Earlier, talking to Indian journalists, the prime minister said the process of composite talks was moving forward and Pakistan hopes that it would reach to final conclusion with in due course of time.

He said Sir Creak issue could not be seen in isolation. Shaukat Aziz said composite talks process would have to be seen as a whole and wait for its positive outcome. The prime minister told a questioner that Pakistan was satisfied with the progress on composite talks and believed that it could not be taken as a transaction for which one invests and gets profit in a stoke.

He said South Asia Free Trade Agreement (Safta) was on a right track and it was going to pay all the parties. He said Pakistan was honouring its commitment for facilitating trade under Safta as its economy was growing and becoming a great attraction for the global investors.

Shahid Malik said Pakistan accords great importance to Saarc summit being held here and hopes it would yield desired results for all the parties to it. Meanwhile, talking to a group of journalists accompanying him to New Delhi for coverage of Saarc summit scheduled for April 3-4, Shaukat Aziz said that Safta was a serious issue and he would stress upon the member countries for its implementation in letter and spirit.

He said Pakistan's economy was growing fast and it sees Safta as an instrument to expedite its pace of economic growth. Aziz said Pakistan was implementing the Safta and proving full coverage to member countries trade but it was not getting the same response from some of the member countries.

He said Pakistan had provided conducive atmosphere to the investors to take full advantage of its growing economy. He said that today Pakistan offers all areas and sectors to global investors for investment and taking good return on their investment.

Shaukat Aziz added that India-Pakistan talks process was moving in the right direction and it would help them reach to a logical conclusion for sorting out all controversial issues including Kashmir. He said both India and Pakistan were eager to make talks process result oriented.

The prime minister raid he would meet Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh, former prime minister Vajpai, Afghan president Hamid Karazai and Korean, Japan and Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi leadership during his two-day stay in New Delhi. Indian Oil minister, Murli Deora received the prime minister on his arrival at New Delhi airport.
