A high-level delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) has arrived here on a seven-day visit to hold meetings with the concerned authorities and review the pace of progress on Rs 5 billion Rawalpindi Environment Improvement Project (REIP).

Project Director Aslam Ali Sabzwari told APP on Sunday that the delegation led by Dr Shakeel Ahmed Khan would visit different sites of the project and hold separate meetings with Director General RDA Brigadier Pervaiz Mehmood Khan (Retd), Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) and Project Director DMU.

He said, in these meetings the delegation would be apprised about various aspects of the project, adding the team would also be holding meetings with District Nazim Raja Javed Ikhlas, Nazim Rawal Town Sheikh Rashid Shafique and Nazim Potohar Hamid Nawaz Raja on Tuesday.
