Sundas Hameed is the first Pakistani special child to win the gold and silver medals in standing broad jump and 50m race in the 8th Punjab games held in Ludhiana, India. In recognition to her efforts and achievement Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir presented a cash award of Rs 25,000 to the child.

Sundas Hameed was born on 10th March 1992. Her parents are living in Naval Complex and her father Abdul Hameed is MES employee. She falls under the category of slow learners. She joined Special Education Wing of Bahria College Islamabad on 8 March 2005. She had a natural talent in the field of sports as well.-PR
