Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Liberation (JKDL) Party Chairman Hashim Qureshi, who got much publicised coverage during hijacking of an Indian airliner to Rawalpindi before December 1971's Indo-Pak war, now wants to visit Azad Kashmir.

He wants to cross the line of control (LoC) to help the earthquake-affected people in Azad Kashmir. Qureshi and 75 other party workers have submitted their applications for permission to travel to Muzaffarabad at the regional passport office Srinagar.
