Somalian Ambassador called on Federal Minister for Health Muhammad Nasir Khan here on Friday to discuss matters pertaining to co-operation in health sector.

The ambassador informed the minister that soon after the earthquake, the government of Somalia sent medical teams consisting of doctors and paramedical staff to provide medical care to victims of earthquake. He said the team members are still working in Mansehra and Garhi Habibullah in medical relief camps.

The minister thanked the government and people of Somalia for sending medical teams in such hour of crises. He reiterated that Pakistan would continue to help Somalia in health sector.
