Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said on Thursday that the government would send its team of technical experts to brief the federal and provincial parliamentarians on the issue of water reservoirs.

Speaking to Senators here at his chamber in the Parliament House after attending the Senate's session, he said the technical experts would brief the members about the requirements and options available.

He said the technical experts would help remove the misperceptions and clarify the questions they might have over the issue.

The Prime Minister also appreciated the presentation of Report of the Parliamentary Committee on Water in the House and said it would generate healthy debate and help dispel misunderstandings.

Those who called on the Prime Minister include Special Adviser to PM Muhammad Ali Durrani, Minister of State Naseer Mengal, Senators Amjad Abbas, Akram Wali, Tahir Muhammad Khan, Zafar Chaudhry, Wali Muhammad Badini and Ahmed Ali.
