Facilitating the taxpayers to pay their due taxes and file income tax returns, all authorised branches of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) will remain open till 6pm on Saturday, December 31.

For the assistance of taxpayers, ''Facilitation Officers'' will be available at all the zonal offices of the income tax department till 8pm on December 31. These measures have been taken by the Central Board of Revenue as a part of its policy to extend all possible help and co-operation to the taxpayers in meeting their tax obligations.
