"One of the plans that I presented to the president and parliament was the selection of fundamentalist (hard-line) managers who are in line with government and parliament (thinking)," Vaziri-Hamaneh told the hard-line Kayhan daily.
"Based on that, there will be a major change at the level of high-ranking mamagers at the oil ministry, which has been co-ordinated with the president," he added without elaborating. The Oil Ministry has so far escaped the big bureaucratic shake-ups experienced in other government departments since President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took office in August vowing to root our corruption and improve services to the poor.
