She said the chief minister has planned to enhance health budget from next year, adding that a new service structure for doctors is being prepared, while working on appointing fresh doctors in rural areas would be made compulsory.
Dr Farzana said the rural health centers were being made functional under a pilot project launched by the government. She hailed chief minister for his people-friendly policies, saying that 37,000 persons injured in earthquake of October 8 were provided free-medical treatment in Punjab.
