On the grams side, garda Punjab plus Rs 95 to Rs 1975-2025, Gram dal Punjab gained Rs 50 to Rs 2400-2450, yellow peas Canada rose by Rs 65 to Rs 1500-1550, yellow peas dal gained Rs 50 to Rs 1750-1785. Beetle Chana No 1 went up sharply by Rs 235 to Rs 2125-2175. Beetle 50x50 followed suit and was up by Rs 125 to Rs 2050-2100 and dal beetle gained Rs 75 to Rs 2450-2500.
Upward trend was also seen on the rice sector, as a result of rising demand by the exporters and local buyers, market sources said.
