The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and directed him to submit report by first week of December in a petition filed by one Iqbal Rana challenging the election of nazim union council 65 of district Mandi Bahauddin.

The petitioner, through his counsel Allah Bakhsh Gondal, contended the respondent election commission officials committed rigging on a large scale. The court, after examining the report of district returning officer (DRO) issued notice to Chief Election Commissioner.
