A man, arrested in an alleged dacoity case, was died in police custody during investigation here on Wednesday. According to report, Mureedwala police had arrested a gang of four dacoits, including Umer Farooq, Mohammad Tariq, Muhammad Babar and Ziaullah, who were pronounced to have been involved in various robberies.

During the investigation Ziaullah became unconscious and later he was died when he was being brought to hospital in a police van. District Police officer (DPO) and other officers reached on the spot, while enquiry of the custodial death was in progress.
