During the breakfast meeting between Foreign Secretary Riaz Muhammad Khan and his Indian counterpart Shyam Saran, Pakistan conveyed its appreciation for the relief assistance provided by the government and people of India in the aftermath of the recent earthquake in north West Frontier Province of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
The Indian Foreign Secretary expressed sympathy and condolences on the loss of life and damage.
He said that India had made arrangements to open three points by 10 November, but it required more time to complete the logistics arrangements for the remaining two points.
Pakistan has already made the requisite arrangements for opening the five crossing points before November 7.
