The Religious Affairs Ministry has finalised arrangements for training programme of intending pilgrims (Azmeen-e-Haj) and their vaccination for meningitis at tehsil and district levels commencing from Thursday (November 10).

According to Haji Camp Lahore Director Haj Muhammad Farough Aftab Zaidi, the mobile teams had been sent to various cities in the jurisdiction of Lahore Haji Camp to impart necessary training to "Azmeen-e-Haj" and their vaccination free of cost.

The intending pilgrims had also been informed about the training and vaccination programme. The vaccination was essential for all intending pilgrims, Director Haji camp added. However, he said that facility would also be available at all Haji Camps and those could not get training and vaccination from mobile teams they could get the same from their nearest Haji camp.

He said a documentary in that regard had also been prepared and it would also be telecast on PTV to inform the pilgrims about 'Manasik-e-Haj' and CDs of the training programme were also available at the Haji camps.
