A group of Japanese investors on Tuesday called on City Nazim Karachi Mustafa Kamal at his office and assured him of investment in various projects for next 100 years.

According to a City District Government Karachi (CDGK) official, the representatives of Japan International Co-operation Agency (Jica) and Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro) and presented him details of several projects prepared by them for Karachi.

Syed Mustafa Kamal assured delegation he would consider projects prepared by the Japanese experts and separate meeting with respect to each development project would be held with them.

He apprised visiting delegation of CDGK projects for improving the living standard in the city and said he wanted to transform Karachi into a clean and developed city of the country, having latest system of clean drinking water supply, sewerage and cleanliness with equal facilities of education, health and employment.

City Nazim said they had started short and long term development projects to improve Karachi's infrastructure.

The visiting delegation was comprised of Japan International Co-operation Agency Advisor K Tamaki, Japan External Trade Organisation Director Hiroyuki Miyakawa and Project Co-ordinator Sheikh Talib Fatah while DCO Karachi Raees ud Din Paracha was also present at the meeting.
