Bulls continued to stay in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where gainers outnumbered losers amid increase in index. ISE Network index was up by 58.07 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,679.59 to 11,737.66 points.

The overall volume amounted to 1,179,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 870,000 shares. Out of 131 companies traded, majority of stocks (87) closed in positive territory, 44 showed minus signs, while zero companies remained pegged to their previous levels.

The turnover of PTCL was 836,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 546,500 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 223,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 204,100 shares. The turnover of Pakistan Petroleum was 44,300 shares.
