Saudi Arabian Deputy Interior Minister Prince Ahmad Bin Abdul Aziz held talks with Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao for more than an hour here on Tuesday and agreed to co-ordinate their efforts to end terrorism in their respective countries.

Official sources told Business Recorder that Minister of State for Interior Wasim Shehzad and senior officials of the ministry were also present on the occasion.

Prince Ahmad is visiting Pakistan as the personal representative of King Abdullah.

Prince Ahmad expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of life and property caused by October 8 earthquake.

The Saudi Arabian delegation is assessing the damage caused by the earthquake and the requirements of relief and rehabilitation. Sherpao gave a comprehensive briefing to the visiting delegation.

Both the leaders expressed satisfaction over excellent level of co-operation between the two countries and current co-ordination in relief and rehabilitation efforts.

Prince Ahmad and Sherpao reaffirmed their resolve to further promote mutual co-operation and agreed to root out menace of terrorism.
