The Karachi Port handled 85,426 tonnes of cargo including 79,069 tonnes import and 6,357 tonnes export cargo including 749 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 32,426 tonnes dry cargo including 22,105 tonnes general cargo; 10,321 tonnes bulk cargo and 53,000 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.

One ship namely Wan Hai-311 sailed out to sea during the report period.

Five vessels viz Lalazar, MT Shalamar, Panama Express, Troy Burg and Maersk Alaska are currently at the berths.

Four ships namely Paige, Le Li, Panama Express and Rickmers Dubai expected to sail on Monday, while another ship Lalazar is expected to sail on Tuesday.

Four vessels viz Al Marwah, Global Progress, Ever Guard and Pos Harmony due to arrive on Monday, while nine ships namely Diamond Park, Shintoku, Yang Jiang He, Ponl Vera Cruz, Eax Sanctity, Apl Pusan, Kota Waruna, Sibi and Imme are due to arrive on Tuesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 70,974 tonnes comprising 58,768 tonnes import and 12,206 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,479 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 33,264 tonnes gas oil, 5,000 tonnes chemicals, 2,287 tonnes sugar, 5,280 tonnes coal and 25,143 tonnes containerised cargo.

Two ships namely Mcs Brianna and Addarrak sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two vessels viz CV Camilla Rickmer and gas oil carrier Difko Chaser are expected to sail on Monday.

A total of three vessels viz Chitral, Multan and Qany Yuan are currently at the outer anchorage.

Two ships namely CV Mariner and HSD oil carrier Harmony due to take berths on Monday.
