At least ten persons were died in different incidents during the Eid-ul-fitr celebrations in Multan division, including five killed over personal enmity.

Three real brothers Mazhar Hussain, Zafar Hussain and Allah Ditta were gunned down in Kotla Abul-Fatah (Muzaffarabad) Multan when they were proceeding to offer Eid-prayer. At least four suspects have so far been taken into custody for interrogation.

One Pervez Iqbal was shot and killed in Budhla Saint, Multan and a woman Kausar Mai was killed in a scuffle between the neighbours on petty issue in Seetal Mari area.

A woman and her two children were killed when tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle rickshaw violently, four other passengers were injured in the incident.

A Lahore-bound Pakpattan express crushed two youth to death in Burewala on Saturday when they were crossing railway track to go to sabzi mandi.

They were identified as Muhammad Akhtar son of Munir Ahmed (18) of Muhammad Nagar and Muhamad Irfan (22) of Yaquob Nagar. Railway police handed over the bodies to local police.
