Talking to various delegations of public representatives in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said that he will stay in the city on Eid day since he do not intend to leave the quake-hit people in present condition.
Sikander Hayat said that since he spent most of his lifetime, particularly the political life in Muzaffarabad, he has deep attachment and affiliation with this city.
Meanwhile, official sources said that Prime Minister Sikander Hayat Khan and the members of his cabinet relief committee will meet the earthquake-hit people in Muzaffarabad on Eid day to inquire about their welfare and the pace of the relief activities by various public-sectors, institutions and the NGOs.
The government is taking every possible measures to extend sufficient eatable items and tents for the shelterless quake victims, they said.
