Brigadier Pervez Bashir Nawaz, Regional Director, CAA specially arrived from Regional Headquarters, Lahore to supervise the massive relief of nation of cargo flights at Islamabad airport.

Regional Director Nawaz presided a meeting of ground handling agents ie PIAC, SAPS and Gerry's Dnata and emphasised to clear the relief goods promptly from the apron.

Special duties were assigned to CAA officers to monitor the operation of cargo flights round the clock. This operation may like to continue for quite some time.
