The Interior Ministry on Wednesday notified general public holiday throughout Pakistan on Iqbal Day (November 9). Mounting of ceremonial guard at the Mazar of Allama Iqbal will be arranged and special programmes will be telecast and broadcast on the life, ideas and achievements of Allama Iqbal.

National flag will be hoisted on principal government buildings throughout the country.

Scout rallies and march past of school children will be organised, besides special exhibition of books will be arranged at Iqbal Museum Lahore, National Museum Karachi and Iqbal Manzil Sialkot.
