Jamhoori Watan Party Deputy Secretary General Abdul Rauf Khan Sasoli has warned the government not to employ delaying tactics in implementation on the Parliamentary Committee's recommendations on Balochistan which included gas surcharge, NFC award and jobs provision to Balochis in Frontier Corps and other federal departments.

Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he said federal government had deferred the decision to implement recommendations of Parliamentary Committee headed by Senator Mushahid Hussain on the pressing issues of Balochistan, which would have serious repercussions.

It had also been decided to thwart surveys conducted for construction of military cantonments to be set up far away from Sui and Dera Bugti, and the same would be done again. Sasoli said earthquake had hit the Azad Kashmir and Hazara division on October 8 while Parliamentary Committee had submitted its report four months ago when everything was normal. Now the Government was making excuse of quake to halt implementation in the wake of devastation caused by the current earthquake. He further said those decisions, which were to be implemented in December, had also been deferred.
