South Korea's state-run Public Procurement Service (PPS) has bought 400 tonnes of Thai RSS No 3 (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) rubber via a tender, a PPS official said on Monday.

But the official said the PPS had passed on another tender to buy 100 tonnes of STR 20 (Standard Thai Rubber) due to high prices. The tenders were held on Friday.

Of the total RSS No 3 rubber amount, shipment of 100 tonnes was set by November 30 to Intone, while the delivery of 300 tonnes was scheduled for 100 tonnes a month from November to January, to Susan, he said.
