Punjab Ombudsman Rao Abdur Rashid Khan has redressed the grievance of a retired Naib Qasid of Rural Health Center, Baddomalhi, Narowal district, as refund of an amount of Rs 49,638, which had unjustifiably been deducted from his pension/gratuity, has been made to him.

According to the details, the complainant, Muhammad Sharif, retired Naib Qasid of Rural Health Center Baddomalhi, had stated in his application to the Ombudsman that his date of birth, as mentioned in the NIC was 1944 but it was entered as 1939 in his service book. After hearing the complainant, the ombudsman ordered refund of an amount of Rs 49,638.
