Bears returned in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where retail investors and foreign funded brokerage houses offloaded their positions to avoid heavy losses amid decrease in index. ISE Network index showed a decrease of 64.97 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,532.02 to 11,467.05 points.

The overall volume amounted to 224,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,480,800 shares. Total 111 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (57) landed in minus column, 54 showed healthy signs, while zero companies remained pegged to their previous levels.

The turnover of PTCL was 71,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,069,800 shares. The volume of PSO was 50,100 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 33,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 50,700 shares.
