Pakistan and India have agreed to open two-way movement across the Line of Control in quake-ravaged Kashmir where thousands of survivors desperately await help, said a joint statement.

"The two sides agreed to open crossings at five points across the LoC from November 7," said a joint statement published after lengthy discussions in Islamabad.

The points are Nausehri, Tithwal, Uri, Hajipur and Chakothi

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh sent a delegation after President Pervez Musharraf called for easing the heavily militarised LoC to enable people to cross over to help relatives and other quake survivors.

Islamabad formally proposed five points for cross Line of Control movement while New Delhi has said it would set up facilities at three points.
