It was a pleasure to see a news item that Senator Ahmed Ali, former Communications Minister, having donated his 3-year remuneration's as a member of the Senate and donated 14,81,000 rupees towards the welfare fund for earthquake. A good omen from a politician.

Can this be the beacon of light for other Senators and members of the Assembly to follow him in this hour of trial.
