The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has given six percent research and development support to the Garment Industry. The support would include 90 days for the submission and re-submission of cases instead of 30 days.

In order to facilitate exporters, all the applications originally submitted on or before September30, 2005 - within 90 days of the realisation of the export proceeds, but returned due to certain discrepancies, will be allowed to be re-submitted.

It would be irrespective of the time limit of and would be processed/paid by the SBP - BSC offices accordingly.
