Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) Pakistan is launching Eid Caravan for earthquake victims from Karachi to provide relief goods to 20,000 victims in Azad Kashmir and NWFP. IJT General Secretary Nasruallah Khan Goraya stated this in a press conference here on Wednesday.

He demanded of the government to spend out of US $11 billion foreign exchange reserves on the earthquake victims. He said that the IJT has so far provided relief goods worth Rs 2 million and sent 10 medical teams with medical assistance. After arriving from Karachi, the caravan would depart from Lahore on October 31, he maintained.
