The Egyptian syndicate of doctors has donated 200,000 doses of tetanus vaccine, four vehicles equipped with complete medical facilities and first aid kits urgently required by severe quake victims in NWFP and Azad Kashmir.

This syndicate has also offered sizeable relief assistance in shape of blankets, beds and medicines, said a press release issued by Egyptian Mission here on Wednesday.

Simultaneously, an Egyptian Jamia El-Shariah - one of the largest NGOs in Egypt - has brought 12 tons of medical assistance.

At this hour of need, the Egyptian people are standing firmly behind their Pakistani brethren and making all efforts in providing humanitarian and relief assistance to the affectees of quake-hit areas.

Egyptian President Hosny Mubarak has given instruction that Egyptian relief assistance to Pakistan should be on a continuous basis.

In this context, two planes are expected to arrive shortly to deliver additional relief and humanitarian assistance. Three Egyptian military planes have already delivered 32 tons of Egyptian relief assistance.
