He said 11 area supervisors have been selected to run the 76 mobile teams set up for this purpose, adding the World Health Organisation (WHO) has provided vaccine as a precautionary measure to meet the challenges of health hazards posed to the quake victims.
The EDO (health) informed that each mobile team, comprising two members of the health department, would personally visit the affected areas and provide medication and treatment to the quake victims.
Dr Syed Ali Khan told newsmen that a medical camp has been set up by a Korean Red Crescent Society at district Bisham for providing free medical treatment to the injured people.
The medical team consists of two Korean and two Pakistani doctors that would cover the union council Sarkol, an area where an estimated 70 percent houses have been destroyed in the October 8 earthquake.
