The Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) has taken responsibility of providing food to the quake victims, who would be shifted to Allied Hospital for medical treatment.

FCCI Acting President, Rana Zafar Ahmed Khan said here on Monday that an 11-member ad hoc committee headed by Munawar A Sheikh, Chairman Pakistan Yarn Merchants Association, has been constituted.

The committee in its meeting has chalked out strategy to provide food to the injured as well as their attendants.

Mian Muhammad Idrees, former Chairman FCCI donated Rs 0.5 million to meet the immediate expenses of the committee.
