South Korea's state-run Public Procurement Service (PPS) has issued tenders to buy 6,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 10,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingot and 500 tonnes of natural rubber, a PPS official said on Monday.

The copper tender will close at 2 pm (0500 GMT) on Monday, with shipment from November to April for 1,000 tonnes each a month for a CIF (cost, insurance and freight) Intone term, he said.

The government agency will seek 6,000 tonnes of non-western aluminium ingot at 11 am (0200 GMT) on Tuesday, with shipment from November to April for 1,000 tonnes each a month for CIF Intone, he said.

The tender for another 4,000 tonnes of Western aluminium ingot will close on Tuesday, with shipment from November to February for 1,000 tonnes each a month to CIF Susan, he said.

The agency will also hold a tender to buy 100 tonnes of STR 20 (Standard Thai Rubber) and 400 tonnes of RSS No 3 (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) at 2 pm (0500 GMT) on Friday, he said.

Of the total RSS No 3 rubber amount, shipment of 100 tonnes is set by November 30 to Intone, while the delivery of 300 tonnes was scheduled from November to January for 100 tonnes each a month to Puss, he said.

Shipment for 100 tonnes of STR 20 rubber is set within three months after receiving a letter of credit, to Intone, he added.
