West Indies will face a full-strength Queensland side containing eight current or former internationals when they open their Australian tour with a four-day match in Brisbane starting on Thursday.

The match is West Indies' only game before the first test against Australia at the Gabba begins on November 3.

QUEENSLAND: Jimmy Maher (captain), Matthew Hayden, Martin Love, Shane Watson, Andrew Symonds, James Hopes, Chris Hartley, Chris Simpson, Andrew Bichel, Ryan Le Loux, Mitchell Johnson, Michael Kasprowicz.
