Low intensity tremors were felt in Defence Housing Authority and Clifton areas near Seaview at 12:28 am here on Wednesday. According to a private TV channel, panic gripped the entire area and the people came out of their residences. Similar tremors were observed in the same area earlier.

Quoting a seismologist the TV report said that the tremors were recorded 4.0 on Richter scale and these shocks have no link with the earthquake occurred in other parts of the country on October 8. But they might be related with the earthquake in Khuzdar and Surab areas, which were measured 5.0 on the Richter scale on Tuesday, it added.
