Religious scholar Muhammad Ahmed Madni was injured and his son Abdullah killed when unknown assailants open fire on them while both were passing through Buffer Zone near DC office in their car late on Sunday night, according to a private TV channel.
A leading member of banned religious outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba, Maulana Madni was later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the report added.
