Hurriyat members discussed the situation in Occupied Kashmir and steps taken by Pakistan and India to improve bilateral ties, they added.
These leaders backed the ongoing peace process between Pakistan and India and reiterated their desire that Kashmiri leadership should be involved in the dialogue, sources said.
Later, the Prime Minister hosted a dinner in honour of Kashmiri leaders at the Prime Minister House. In his address at the dinner Shaukat Aziz said the people and the government of Pakistan will continue to support the just cause of people of Kashmir and will always remain by their side.
Shaukat Aziz said the people and government of Pakistan were very pleased to receive the occupied Kashmir leaders.
He said the Kashmiri leaders must have seen and felt for themselves the love and affection the people of Pakistan have for the Kashmiri brethren.
The people of Pakistan always remember their Kashmiri brethren in their prayers, he added.
Referring to the talks held with the Kashmiri leaders, the Prime Minister expressed the hope that this would bring about good results and the visit of the delegation would be fruitful.
Shaukat Aziz said, "Pakistan is your home and we are contemplating to award scholarships to occupied Kashmir students so that the Kashmiri youth can be provided education."
He said the government was also considering starting truck service across the Line of Control (LoC) that will not only create economic linkages and cement our bonds but also a better atmosphere.
The moderate Kashmiri leaders also met the President of Pakistan Muslim League, Shujaat Hussain, who expressed hope that the row over the Himalayan region would be resolved during President Pervez Musharraf's current term in office, which ends in 2007, state television said.
The Kashmiri leaders are expected to meet President Musharraf on Monday.
